SERVICE CASHIER

Southtowne Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac is seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will play an important role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by assisting customers with payments, processing transactions accurately, and providing administrative support to our service departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer payments for service repairs, parts purchases, and other dealership transactions.
• Accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, checks, and other approved payment methods.
• Provide customers with accurate receipts and work documentation when needed.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while handling customer concerns.

• Work closely with service advisors to ensure customers experience a smooth and efficient checkout process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous cashier, retail, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle financial transactions accurately.
• Proficiency with computers and basic office software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and remain professional in a busy environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing outstanding customer service.
• Previous experience working in automotive or knowledge of service department operations preferred.
