Pay: $24.00/hour
Position Summary
The Welder/Grinder performs skilled welding and grinding work on stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metals using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques. This role requires precision, attention to quality, and a strong commitment to safety in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Weld and grind stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metal components.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Operate an overhead crane to move materials as needed.
- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify flaws.
- Read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Use basic math and geometry to complete work accurately.
- Perform other duties as required to support production.
Requirements
- Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Professional welding certification is a plus.
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet fast-paced project demands.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with a dependable, self-driven work ethic.
