About This Job:
Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Warehouse Associate to work in Nyeri, Kenya.
Job Purpose
To safely and accurately receive, inspect, move, store, pick, issue, load and dispatch materials or finished products while maintaining inventory integrity, timely service, good housekeeping, and full compliance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
1. Receiving and Inspection
- Receive raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods and returns against purchase orders, transfer documents or delivery notes.
- Check item identity, quantity, batch or lot, dates, packaging condition and supporting documents before acceptance.
- Record and escalate shortages, damages and non-conformities immediately.
- Complete system goods receipt and put-away transactions within approved timelines.
2. Storage and Product Care
- Label, palletize and store stock in assigned locations using approved stacking practices.
- Apply FIFO or FEFO and maintain batch, lot and date traceability.
